Amongst the golden lotus collection, celebrating the lotus flower and its symbolism of resilience, there was a single pair of earrings featuring the often neglected leaves.
She saw them and thought they'd look lovely in gold colour. I had created them and left them in the original silver colour but she had a point. We should celebrate the lotus leaves as well. Without which, there would be no flowers.
So, i went back to the bench and created a whole new pair, gold plated the leaves. Just for her.

It was a challenge to work in the small sizes and am so glad that I was able to create what I envisioned. Continuing on the 'Golden Lotus' series, this pair of dangle earrings are made with a special touch. She is designed and made so that you can wear her with interchangeable dangles or simply on her own.

However you wear her, carry with you the strength of the lotus. Bloom at your own pace, even if you start out in the mud.

Fresh off the bench! Introducing the first of the golden lotus series. This follows the water lilies earrings inspired by Monet's waterlilies and my growing fascination with flower symbolism.

The lotus is seen as a symbol of strength and beauty, shining despite humble roots in the mud. I chose to have the lotus in gold as a reminder that we can all glow and overcome challenges. It might be tiny or it may be in-your-face. It's your own personal glow. Keep is strong, keep it growing, keep it glowing.

The time has come. It's with a heavy heart that I write this. I've tried my hardest to maintain my prices with bulk buying and more efficient processes yet metal prices continue to escalate. Gold prices grew at least 40% and silver prices have doubled since the same time last year.

I am at a point now where I will need to adjust the prices to reflect the current situation as replacements for every piece sold will cost so much more.

Before the price adjustment, I would like to offer a 'Last chance' sale. Current tag prices remain and I will hold them till Chinese New Year (17 Feb 2026). It was love at first sight. Enamoured with the unusual shape and captivating radiant cuts in the stone, I knew I had to bring her home, even without a clear design in mind. One day, many months later, it came to me. The ocean. That was what drew me to her in the first place, a feeling that she was holding deep secrets within her lines. Not to be spoken, but felt.

Topaz waves is what she emerged as. Accentuated with natural diamonds, evoking imagery of the frothy tops of waves. One of a kind, not to be repeated.

Starting the year by looking back at some of the pieces created in 2025. I've been on this journey for a few years and often I have been plagued by the uncertainty of having made the wrong decision to plunge into jewellery making. Learning a craft is not difficult but mastering it is slow and meandering. Progress is imperceptible daily but when we look back after enough time has passed, I am glad to see how far I have come along. I still take a deep breath before soldering and struggle with saw-butchered fingers yet the pieces created make up for every sore neck and back breaking hour.

I leave 2025 with a heart full of gratitude for the continual support from you all. The shared appreciation of design and gems, chats in the showroom and company during events have been a boost to me. Without you, I would not be able to continue on this journey. 💗

Looking forward with enthusiasm to 2026 and I hope to have your company in the coming year! May 2026 be filled with happiness, health and laughter!

It's the time of the year for treats! You've worked hard and deserve to indulge yourself and gift your friends something fun and unique. This will be my first time running this event and I really look forward to your presence to share this milestone and enjoy a sweet treat with me.
