Dates for 10/11cent, great for anyone reenacting high status person of Western Slav / Rus region. Dome made of brass, all steel elements are silver plated and have same ornaments as oryginal find. Inner diameter ~70cm, comes with riveted maile.
Wore once for a photo session, no marks, like brand new

💥 It's made of 1mm blackened steel and brass, front plates have hand made bosses same as oryginal find..
Plates are laced together with very strong 3mm natural leather cords, all edges are trimmed with soft 2mm leather, closings on the both sides, bronze buckles + straps.
💥Armour will fit someone about 115-130cm in waist and 170-190cm tall. It weights about 15-16kg
Arms can be easily detached!
💥 Design is compromise between hypothetically look of oryginal armour and requirements of modern day reenactment fighting.

Birka armour is Back !
Another example of this very popular model just left the workshop.
As usual, made of 1mm steel plates, laced together with strong leather cords.
Closings on both sides, 6 bronze buckles and straps.
Arms can be easily detached, same leg guards.
Great protection + very good flexibility makes this type of armour a great choice for modern day warriors.
