I called it Puro when I designed it, which means stream in Finnish.
But Per who is the one often hammering them nowadays calles this earring “Pöl=puddle” since he doesn’t know Finnish and Finnish is hard. I kind of think the poetry gets lost. But it’s also funny! 😂 Or what do you think?

Obsessed and inspired by antique jewelry! These rings are mostly from the beginning of 1900s.

Once upon a time I loved hanging out in a dark room developing photos. Nowadays I’m trying to catch something special in a photo when I take it and not needing to go to a dark room or photoshop. I’m not always succeeding. 😆😅

Aava. Do you like texture on a ring? I’m fond of destroying the surface of the jewelry we make. Takes a lot of hmm.. is that enough? Is it the right kind of marks? Is it too much and so on..🔥⚒️🪚😅🔨

With the Aava ring I was determined to make it quite rugged! Would you have wanted a chunky ring but more smooth?

Maybe I’m sharing too much silver? Where’s the bronze? I think I sometimes feel unsure since we don’t add gold plating to our jewelry. I am sure! It is the best way to do it! Solid bronze and brass can be polished and will last for years to come, just like silver or gold! So a promise for new year is to listen more to myself!
