While I’ll be sharing the pieces from my new collection very soon, I also wanted to post a quick photo of my graduation project first. 🤍

This was actually the first time I used the shapes and forms that inspired the new collection as well.

During the design process, my teacher told me that later in life I would probably end up creating more wearable, everyday jewelry anyway, so I should use the freedom of a graduation project to make something truly bold and unusual. I took that advice, and they were absolutely right. ✨

I created huge, extravagant jewelry pieces in bronze: a bracelet, a ring, and earrings as well. They are wearable, but because of their weight, definitely not the most everyday pieces.

A lot has changed since then, but these forms somehow stayed with me. In my new collection, I continued developing the same shapes, just this time as truly wearable everyday jewelry.

I’ll be sharing them very soon. 🤍

I made a very special Mother’s Day 💐 surprise:
two pendants with the children’s fingerprints pressed into the surface,
and their initials engraved on the other side.

Small details that make these pieces deeply personal.
A quiet and meaningful project to work on at the bench.

This ring was made as a birthday gift for my mum 🤍

It features three kardemummabullar, and it is the only one of its kind I’ve ever made. A true one-of-a-kind piece.

Two years ago, when I had my very first batch of castings made, she was the one who picked them up and opened the package with me. I still remember her looking at the pieces and saying that the little buns looked like a bouquet of roses.

That moment stayed with me. Since then, so many people have seen different things in my jewelry — flowers, knots, patterns, memories, little symbols of their own. And I honestly love that. It means each person connects with the pieces in their own way and finds something personal in them.

Jewelry can be more than just jewelry. Sometimes it becomes a story, a memory, or a feeling.

This bouquet of roses became my mum’s 🌹

Big announcement: from now on, you can eat your favorite jewelry too!
Yes, you read that right, I’m now making life-sized, edible silver jewelry. Or well… silver objects might be a more accurate term.

If it was already hard to resist the cinnamon bun inspiration before, now you don’t have to anymore, go ahead and take a bite.
Just be careful with your teeth. 🦷

Please don’t take this post too seriously, but the wearable versions are real, and you can find them on my webshop anytime. 😁

P.S. please be kind about my Photoshop skills, this image was made very quickly 😰

A custom-made ring with a more understated knot pattern.
The customer really liked my twisted knot designs,
but was looking for something simpler.
That’s how this knot ring was made.

A small glimpse.
The first detail from the new collection 🙂

Would you guess these two will become a matching pair of earrings one day?
Right now they are in the filing and sanding stage — and yes, this is what a bit of filing and sanding can do.

I shaped the base from beeswax. It’s a beautiful material for freehand, organic forms, but because it’s so soft, fine details and very thin parts are not always easy to achieve. After casting, I refine the shape by filing and sanding the metal down to where it needs to be.

It’s a slow and very repetitive step… but it makes all the difference. Wish me patience 😅

I’m currently working on my new collection,
but I’m at that stage when the work is slower and more repetitive, so I sometimes pause to practice on small stone pieces like this. 😁
