Running a small business with an 18-month-old is a funny thing.
Some days I have big plans, long to-do lists, new ideas I’m excited about, and every intention of getting through them all. Then a tiny person wakes up and reminds me that my schedule is no longer the one calling the shots. 😂
The business still runs. Orders still get packed. Emails still get answered. New collections still get created (eventually). It just all happens a little differently than it used to. Honestly, normally in nap times and evenings.
I’ve learned to work in small pockets of time, celebrate progress instead of quantity, and accept that some days are more about keeping a tiny human happy than ticking things off a list.
It’s not always easy balancing both worlds, but it’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted. One day I’ll miss the little interruptions, the cuddles between tasks, and my smallest (and busiest) coworker following me around all day.
For now, I’m embracing the slower pace, the messier days, and the season I’m in. 🤍
Today I’m proud for finishing my biggest retail order to date and celebrating by spending the day gardening with my girl. 170/170 📦
Thank you always for sticking it out with us.
See you in a month! Cx
