There was a point where I almost shut the whole thing down.

Small production runs were expensive, nobody had heard of SÖNER, and I was funding it all out of pocket while questioning whether anyone actually wanted a rectangular-only watch brand.

What kept me going wasn’t some big sign from the universe. It was the steady increase in personal, authentic customer reviews.

One review at a time, it became clear that people really did want something different.

So I kept building.

I bought a watch to celebrate a promotion… and I never wore it. Years later, that watch became the reason SÖNER exists. Funny how one unworn watch can change everything.

People see three dots. I see my reason for building this brand.

The three dots in every Söner watch represent my two sons, William and Widar, and me. The middle dot sits slightly higher for a reason. Nothing about our logo is random.

Söner means “sons” in Swedish. Every watch carries a piece of our family’s story.

People always mispronounce SÖNER… and I actually like it.

Because it gives me the chance to tell the story.

SÖNER is Swedish for “sons.” It’s not a made-up name or an acronym. I named the brand after my two sons, William and Widar.

Every watch we create carries that meaning.
