Roman Karakurkci, founder of the International Jewellery School and his own jewelry atelier, has joined the expert council of the International Jewelers Association (IJAA).
His candidacy was recommended by expert council member Rahimi Parvizi Tohir, after which the president of the Association Artyom Rudolfovich Balyan personally negotiated and approved Roman's joining the council in the role of an expert and consultant. In this role, he will participate in the assessment of works, development of professional standards and consulting of the Association's projects.
IJAA is an international professional community uniting jewelers, designers, manufacturers and industry experts from all over the world. The Association creates a space for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and development of jewelry art outside commercial and governmental structures.
IJAA is based on the principles of professional reputation, transparency and mutual trust. Participants are selected through recommendations of current members, and their qualifications are confirmed and open to communities.
Roman's joining is an important step in developing international professional standards and strengthening the expert environment in the jewelry industry. Since its founding in 2014, our school has trained more than 1800 students from 54 countries, shaping a new generation of masters and teachers.
We are confident that this cooperation will strengthen the international professional community and support the development of competencies of students and members around the world.
