Through the IWC Cyberloupe, every detail comes into focus: the finely textured black dial, stamped into a brass base, the newly designed triangular black hour and minute hands edged with Super-LumiNova®, and the outer ring with the minute scale seemingly floating on delicate lamellae.

IWC once again welcomes the Lunar New Year with a special edition timepiece, introducing the auspicious color gold to this annual series for the first time.

The performance chronograph (Ref. IW388310) combines a brushed titanium case and black ceramic bezel with a warm gold-colored dial and black strap. A highlight of the design is the gold-plated oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire glass case back. It is sculpted in the shape of three goats – a cultural symbol of enduring bliss and harmony.

Watch IWC watchmaker Florian Salzer assemble the flying minute tourbillon of the Ingenieur Tourbillon 41 IW345901 at 6 o’clock. This 0.635-gram mechanism, built from 56 parts, positions the balance wheel and escapement within a cage that rotates once a minute. This rotation directly counteracts gravity’s influence on the oscillating system, ensuring a highly accurate rate. An integrated tourbillon stop enables down-to-the-second setting. Suspended by gold-coated bridges, its construction demands meticulous ex*****on.
