Margarida was born in rural Portugal and raised in Germany. Since the age of five, she has had the great privilege of traveling the world. Her inspiration comes from what she sees around her – from the city streets of Lowell to the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas. To Margarida, the ability to follow her inspirations and express herself creatively through her artwork is a vital component of what brings purpose to our daily lives. Margarida designs in silver, copper, paper, fabric, wood, leather, steel and other up-cycled materials.
