We are pleased to announce the representation of Mrozia11.
Mrozia11 (b. 2001) is a Warsaw-based visual artist working with felted wool. Her practice is grounded in the relationship between image and touch, where material reaches the body before it becomes an image for the eye. Felt functions as a primary medium, carrying a memory of tactile experience into the field of the image.
While her works reference painting, their surface operates according to different logics, positioning material simultaneously as image and site of contact. Recurring motifs include landscapes, states of tension, and figures moving through constructed scenes. A recurring female figure appears as a displaced alter ego, moving through environments marked by intimacy, instability, and transformation.
Her work is concerned with internal states rather than spectacle, where storms, fire, and catastrophe appear as condensed images of psychological tension. Felt operates as a material counterpart to these conditions, absorbing and retaining affect.
Her work has been presented, among others, at Bielska Jesień Biennale 2025 – final exhibition, Galeria Bielska BWA (November 2025), we don’t sleep, Pawilon Bliska (April 2025), and Warsaw >kin< Berlin, Galeria Promocyjna, Fringe Festival (September 2023).
