Fil d'or is the brain child of Sundus Talpur, a graduate from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. Talpur’s signature jewellery pieces combine her passion for sculpture, art and the finer things in life. Meticulously sculpted by hand, each D'or piece is imprinted with Talpur's fingerprint for authenticity and then cast in 22k gold.

Draped Polki Ring
This statement ring details feature a Luxurious Diamond Polki, draped in 22k gold fabric. This a one off design, sculpted by hand and unique in its design.
The textile used to create this design is a hand woven cotton khaddar. It was hand woven by Karamullah of Hala, Sindh.
Khaddar is a hand woven cotton textile made on a hand loom (Khadi). Khaddar carries a lot of historic value for South Asia, some of the earliest sources of cotton were grown and woven into cloth in India, Pakistan and Eastern Africa dating back too 5000BC.

Gold Weave and Drips - hand made in 22k gold

These statement pieces with intricate details feature a woven texture and melting gold drips making these wearable pieces of art. These are hand sculpted pieces and the necklace is an individually sculpted one off design.
The weave used to create this design is a hand woven cotton khaddar. It was hand woven by Karamullah of Hala, Sindh.
