Put your treasures in the sky
“Do not accumulate treasures in the earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves enter and steal; But lay up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy and where thieves do not enter and steal. Because where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. ”(Psalm 49:15)
Beloved of God, where are you depositing your treasures today?
God's Word tells us not to store up our treasures on earth. Because everything in our physical world will eventually fade away. Nothing really lasts in this material world.
So why do we trust them?
Be it money, stocks, gold or precious stones. None of these riches last.
The Bible tells us to deposit our treasures in heaven.
But what does that mean?
Now some preachers will tell you that it means you must give them more money, and in return you will have more treasure in heaven.
But how can that be? I present to you that they themselves are trying to accumulate treasures on earth. Because Jesus has never equated the amount of money you give to the church with the amount of treasure you have in heaven.
The truth is that spiritual treasures are kept spiritually. Because the flesh gives birth to the flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to the spirit.
You are storing up treasures in heaven when you fill your spirit with the Word of God.
He meditates on his promises. Pray according to his will. Praise him.
Above all, let him know how good he really is.
And as your faith grows, so will your treasure in heaven.
Wasn't it said in the Bible that the Kingdom of God is within you? Therefore, fill the inner storehouses with God's treasures (His precious promises from him).
And most importantly, remember to keep God's most precious treasure (Jesus Christ) close to his heart.
When your spirit is full of life with Jesus and the promises of God, you will discover that no matter what happens in the material world,
