It’s not every day that we work with a client who knows her diamonds and gemstones.
Dr. A understands specs, follows the trends, and knows what works for her. Over time, she’s built her collection with intention. This cluster diamond earring was her latest addition—no milestone, simply a piece she chose for herself.

She initially asked for 1.00 ct per stone in a three-diamond cluster. Together, we refined the choice to magic carat diamonds.

Magic carats fall in the 0.90–0.99 ct range—stones that are visually very close in face-up appearance to a full 1.00 ct, without paying the premium attached to a 1.00ct.

During my colored stone classes at GIA, I found myself drawn to Opal more than any other gem.
Maybe it’s how it refuses to be predictable — its shifting colors, its shape that favors a cabochon rather than faceted.

What makes Opal so captivating is its play-of-color — a phenomenon caused by perfectly stacked silica spheres that diffract light into rainbows. No two ever align the same way, which is why every Opal is unique.
