Sun Salutation (A Skeleton’s Prayer)

Upon a ledge at break of dawn,
A hollow monk stands still, withdrawn.
No flesh, no breath, just bone and grace,
Yet peace resides upon its face.

One leg raised, the other ground,
In silent balance, lost and found.
Hands in prayer, toward the skies,
The sun reborn within its rise.

The city stirs beneath the haze,
But here, in stillness, time delays.
A soul long gone, yet spirit whole,
Finds morning light to warm its soul.

No skin to feel, no eyes to see—
Yet somehow, more alive than me.
A whisper made of rust and light:
“Even death may greet the night.”
