An all-girls class of Igorot pupils pose for a photo in Easter School sometime in the 1920s. Easter School (now called Easter College) was among the first private schools to launch in the Cordillera region. It opened its doors in 1906. It was established through the efforts of the American Anglican missionary Charles Henry Brent. This was the same missionary who established Brent School.

Easter School was initially established for Igorot boys. In their own words, the school was looking for Igorot boys "who show signs of superior intelligence and capacity for leadership". The first batch of pupils were 8 Igorot boys. But the school opened its doors to girls in 1909.

In the photo, all of the girls were wearing the traditional Ibaloi/Benguet garb, except for one. The girl on the bottom row, far right was wearing a garment (tapis) that was likely of Mt. Province origin. However, some have suggested that it could also possibly be of Ifugao origin.
