We designed and created this beautiful Tiara for the muse of the 61st Hijos de Davao. Incorporating the birth gems of the mother (Aquamarine) and daughter (Pearl) tandem, we took inspiration from the Tiaras of the Victorian and Edwardian era, including those we see from the Royal family today. Celebrating the love between mother and daughter, a not-so-obvious heart form was also incoporated. We also considered the age of the muse which meant the tiara has to be wearable, dainty and elegant. We used natural diamonds as important pieces like this can very well be passed to the next generation. Adding to the versatility of the piece, the tiara can be taken out from the silver frame and be worn as a necklace. Each Gem is also removable so a wearer can replace those with her choice of gems. She can also opt to choose the number of gems when worn either as a necklace or a tiara. It took us about 3 months to create this, from design concept to reality.
