ZAKU CEBU - OMICRON PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT:

Odette and then Omicron struck us at Zaku Cebu ザクセブ… So I tested negative na yesterday after the mandatory quarantine period, but still a bit weak. Will try to get back to the grind, pero will take it slowly since I do not want to relapse into a regular fever or flu. Sadly though, the rest of my local staff are also all showing symptoms of Omi. 4 of 5 will not be reporting for duty for the next couple of weeks. It won’t even be a one man show taking care of inquiries, finance, order sorting, packing, delivery, and post sales service. I’m still recovering, and I’m 50% at best at the moment.

Guys, I am sorry. I know I sound like a broken record, but if you’re not getting the attention you usually get when placing orders with us that is because we are operating with just me right now and Odette after effects are still in play here in Cebu.

If your inquiries via email, chat, or phone has not been replied, please extend your patience and not constantly follow up. Bottlenecking is really bad right now. And take note, we always responded with the older inquiries first and work our way up to the most recent. So when you bump up your query, you’ll only be pushing yourself back in line. Oh, and sending PMs to my personal profile for business inquiries please refrain from doing so since my staff will not have access to our conversation when they need a point of reference.

Post Odette Recovery Project: A little R&D for our newest product from our store brand Zeessentials has been keeping us busy even though we have no electricity 😛 Waterslide or Plotted Decals still in development to get the branding going for these Hobby Knife Grips. This product release has been postponed multiple times, time to get this off the back burner! 😀

Whatcha guys think? The Piano Black and Matte Black are definitely a go. Not too sure which hue of red should we go for. Where’s your vote headed? Gloss Black Base/Red Metallic? Red Metallic? Or Signal Red? Let us know so we can figure out which to mass produce 😀 SIEG ZEON!

ZC TURNS 4 / XMAS 2021 RAFFLE / SUPER TYPHOON ODETTE PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT #3:

Hello Zukis! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas (merrier than ever since we here in Cebu aren't having a jolly time at all). We're very sorry that we have been in the dark and not active online. Well, that's because we literally are in the dark. And with our local electric company promising the island of Cebu to be fully energized by the end of January 2022, our ability to serve you will be lackluster for now. In fact, we are just not able to respond to all your private messages to us since I'm on borrowed time to even write up this announcement. My gated community's gen set is only powered up with limited time in mind. We are still on survival mode for the next couple of weeks.

Without proper power sourcing for electricity, other utilities that are required to conduct business is also hampered. Couriers are still not operating up to now. They need decent wireless internet connectivity and electricity to be able to dispatch riders and drivers. I am in close communications with our local riders from both J&T Express and Shopee Xpress. Their hubs are open, but they are not able to scan parcels nor can they dispatch personnel to pick up and deliver packages. So for those with pending orders with us, we apologize. For pending pre-orders from our website, no movement until further notice. For those pending orders through our Shopee, please consult with Shopee Chat Support as to when your respective orders are to be mobile in their respective distribution hub locations. It's with a heavy heart that I am expecting a lot of Return To Sender parcels as these orders are obviously beyond the Shopee Delivery Guarantee period.

But despite all these difficult hurdles, we must carry on. As Cebuanos, we persevere. With this perseverance, I still am able to bring you good news!

1. Our Zaku Cebu Turns 4 / Xmas 2021 Raffle will go on live feed during the night of December 30, 2021. For the possible out of Cebu winners, please be noted that we won't be able to ship out your prizes right away. For possible local Cebu winners, we can coordinate meet ups.
