TODAY'S GOSPEL (May 26,2026) 📖
This Gospel reminds us that following Christ is never a loss. Sometimes we give up comfort, personal plans, pride, or even relationships in order to stay faithful to God. There are moments when serving the Lord feels difficult and unnoticed. Yet Jesus assures us that every sacrifice made out of love for Him has meaning and reward.
The world often measures success through wealth, recognition, and power. But God looks at the heart. The humble, faithful, and selfless people — even those unnoticed by others — are precious in His eyes. Jesus invites us to trust that His plans are greater than anything we leave behind.
This passage also teaches us that blessings do not always come in material form. Often, God rewards us with peace, stronger faith, loving people around us, and the joy of knowing we are walking with Him. Even in struggles, His grace sustains us.

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for calling me to follow You. Sometimes I become afraid of sacrifices and uncertain about the future, but Your words remind me that nothing given for You is ever wasted. Teach me to trust Your promises and to remain faithful even during difficulties. Remove pride and selfishness from my heart, and help me seek what truly matters in Your eyes. May I follow You with humility, courage, and love each day.
