ASKI MBA logo becomes first IPOPHL-registered trademark

The ASKI Mutual Benefit Association Inc. (ASKI MBA) has achieved another milestone after its official logo was granted registration by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), marking it as the first registered trademark within the ASKI Group. Issued on March 16, 2026, the registration falls under Class 36, covering insurance and financial services, and is valid for ten years until March 16, 2036.

More than a legal recognition, the milestone reflects ASKI MBA’s growing credibility and commitment to protecting its identity and strengthening trust among its members and partners.

As part of the ASKI Group, ASKI MBA continues to provide accessible and community-based insurance solutions. This achievement also sets a strong example for other units to pursue trademark protection, reinforcing brand integrity while supporting the organization’s long-term vision of inclusive financial services.

ASKI held its 2nd Quarterly Mass today, April 13, 2026, at its Head Office in Cabanatuan City. Officiated by Rev. Fr. Mike Veneracion, the celebration was attended by key officers, staff, and on-the-job trainees, including participants of the Comprehensive Management Training Program from various branches. Other branches also joined the Mass virtually.

In his homily, Fr. Mike emphasized that all Christians are “born again” through the sacrament of baptism, where they are reborn in water and the Spirit and become children of God by grace. He explained that this spiritual rebirth unites believers with Christ and gives them a new life rooted in faith, calling them to live with dignity, kindness, and integrity.

He also encouraged everyone to celebrate their baptism as a meaningful moment of grace, to remain active in prayer and community worship, and to boldly witness their faith in their daily lives, reminding them that being a child of God is both a gift and a responsibility.

ASKI Group marks milestones of four key business units

TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija - The ASKI Group celebrated significant milestones of four of its strategic business units on March 23, 2026, at the ASKI Skills and Knowledge Institute Compound, highlighting decades of service in advancing financial inclusion and community development.

The event brought together members, officers, and stakeholders to commemorate the 39th anniversary of Alalay Sa Kaunlaran Microfinance Social Development Inc, the 17th Annual General Assembly of ASKI Multipurpose Cooperative (AMPC), the 15th Annual General Assembly of ASKI Employees Credit Cooperative (AECC), and the 6th Annual Stockholders’ Meeting of Royal Bon Voyage Travel and Tours Corporation.

In his message, ASKI Founder and President Rolando B. Victoria emphasized the organization’s continued resilience amid challenges, noting that hope remains strong and that growth is sustained through unity and shared purpose.

He said the cooperative exists for the future of every member, having demonstrated its value not only through expansion but also through its ability to respond effectively during times of need.

Amid current economic pressures, Victoria highlighted the importance of maintaining “unstoppable faith,” explaining that resilience is strengthened through trials. He also called on members to uphold discipline, pursue continuous learning, and embrace innovation beyond the mindset of “pwede na,” encouraging active participation in shaping programs that deepen impact.

He added that success should not be measured solely by numbers but by the number of lives transformed, urging members to remain committed and to continue strengthening the cooperative as a reliable support system in times of need.

Victoria concluded by reaffirming the cooperative spirit, emphasizing that “as we help ourselves, we also help others,” and encouraged members to move forward together under a shared call for an “unstoppable mission, unstoppable faith, and unstoppable innovation.”

The activity was also graced by the Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives Central Luzon Region League headed by Sharon Dionisio. In her message delivered by Mr. Rommel Paras, she said that the organization extended its heartfelt congratulations to the ASKI Employees Credit Cooperative on its 15th Annual General Assembly, describing it as a meaningful milestone that reflects resilience, unity, and dedication.

She emphasized that the anniversary is not merely a count of years but a symbol of trust, shared commitment, and collective effort among its leaders and members. PFCCO also commended AECC for continuously providing meaningful programs and opportunities, noting that it serves as an inspiration to cooperatives across Central Luzon and a strong example of how unity and care among members define the true strength of a cooperative.

The federation expressed hope that the assembly would bring renewed inspiration, clear direction, and strengthened unity, as it encouraged AECC to sustain its success and remain a source of inspiration in advancing the cooperative movement.

During the afternoon session, the ASKI Multipurpose Cooperative conducted its 17th Annual General Assembly. The AMPC continues to implement programs aimed at supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), farmers, and fisherfolk. These include SME loans, agricultural lending, community-based enterprises such as convenience stores, and green energy initiatives designed to promote sustainable and cost-efficient solutions for members.

In addition, the cooperative strengthens savings mobilization and investment programs that help members build financial stability and long-term resilience.

The assembly also included the declaration of dividends and patronage refunds, reflecting the cooperative’s financial performance and commitment to returning value to its members. Raffle prizes were also distributed to selected members as part of the celebration.

Meanwhile, the Royal Bon Voyage Travel and Tours Corporation reaffirmed its role in expanding opportunities within the ASKI Group by providing accessible travel and mobility services, supporting both enterprise development and broader economic participation of its clients.

The event highlighted ASKI Group’s continued work in providing financial and development services, creating opportunities, and transforming communities.
