Annual Math-Physics Interschool Quiz Show Luzonwide

Annual Math-Physics Interschool Quiz Show Luzonwide Considered to be the UP Math-Physics Societyโ€™s biggest event of the year, the Annual Math-Physics Interschool Quiz Show (AMPIQS) was first staged in 1989.

From Baguio-wide, the competition has been recently launched into a Luzonwide event in celebration of its Silver Anniversary last 2014. With the goal of extending the event into the national level, AMPIQS will welcome various participants from the various regions of Luzon. For 27 years, it remained as a platform of inviting high school students to come together for an intellectual challenge, not o

nly with the goal of winning but also with the aim of learning new knowledge. The competition has showcased various types of questions, ALL manufactured by the Research and Tutorials Committee of the Society. These questions are not only meant to challenge the young minds but also to deliver a new erudition in Mathematics and Physics. Along with the aspiration of promoting interests in these fields, the AMPIQS is also taken as an opportunity to promote the City of Baguio, being the host city of the said event.
