Endless sparkles and gold lustre. We're in love with this Fancy-cut Diamond wedding ring, custom-fitted perfectly alongside our much-loved Step-cut Diamond Trio engagement ring, creating lots of interest between the different diamond shapes and scintillating effects. Martens wedding ring includes an abstract mountainous profile. There is something really special that happens when we add texture or movement to the surface of the Gold that results in this intense reflection of gold lustre. The set is brought together with the addition of two pink Argyle diamonds. Congratulations M+N! xx

Happy New Year ~ 2026 here we come! We are so excited to begin our 12th year of designing and creating one-of-a-kind, handmade fine jewellery at The Rolling Mill. We're feeling refreshed after a fun and relaxing break, we hope you've all enjoyed some time to celebrate and recharge.

2026 is already packed with exciting commissions; we have beautiful gemstones and diamonds ready to be set in precious metals, hand carved and engraved rings, diamond bracelets, fancy diamond earrings and celebratory pieces that will be ready for our lucky customers to enjoy this Summer (or Winter for our customers in the Northern hemisphere).

And a huge congratulations to our customers who have announced their engagements over the holiday break, we love what we do and feel so privileged to be a part of your special day. Please keep your photos and announcements coming.

Seasons greetings ~ wishing all of our wonderful TRM customers a very special festive season, we know a few of you will have some very special gifts waiting under the tree this year, Santa has been very busy in our workshop preparing all of your bespoke orders. We cannot wait to see you all wearing your one-of-a-kind pieces in the new year!

After a busy December, our busy elves have hung up their aprons and put down their tools, to enjoy extra special time with friends and family, including a much deserved break. Our amazing team put in a huge effort this year making sure our orders are absolutely perfect, so a special thanks to our jewellers and team for their magic work.

We will be keeping an eye on our emails for any urgent or new enquiries, I have setup an auto-reply with details to setup an appointment with us whence we return in the new year. Please feel free to email us and we'll get back to you at the next opportunity.

The Moval Cut ~ did you know that there is a diamond shape that sits in between the Oval and Marquise cut diamonds? If you love the look of both of these diamond shapes, you may very well love the Moval cut too! Defined within a set range of elongated length to width ratios, this cut beautifully elongates the hand.

It is accentuated by a perfectly fitted diamond halo with our TRM Signature 'Vee' claws, and a sweeping offset band, creating a truly unique design for our wonderful customers. And of course, completely handmade by our expert goldsmith Jan Bekker.

Introducing a very special carved commission we recently designed and created for our wonderful customer. The floral and foliage is the Kōtukutuku/Tree Fuchsia, endemic to Aotearoa New Zealand, that spans the perimeter of the ring. Also featured are black diamonds set in amongst the dark contrasted areas that really add a special effect to the design.

Often you can find these beautiful tiny purple flowers from August through to December when out walking on the trails. See if you can't spot them on your next outing.

Gold, fancy shaped diamonds and one incredible Montana Sapphire, a truly unique gemstone that displays a colour-shifting effect that transforms between blue, lilac and grey depending on the lighting conditions. Our wonderful customer wanted a design that elongated the finger, so we have dreamed up this fancy diamond arrangement that does just that! Combined with our signature floral leaf basket set upon a flowing band, creating a luxurious, classic design to last the test of time.
