Its a festival of native Upper Hutt birds on Main Street in time for the first day of summer and today's Santa Parade! I absolutely loved designing these flags.
Upper Hutt is surrounded by scenic hills, with Te Awakairangi flowing from the mountains down through our valley, and we are blessed with our native wildlife.
Printing of these Flagtrax flags was by Steve from the amazing Digital Decor in Upper Hutt (https://www.digitaldecor.co.nz/) who specialise in all kinds of fabric printing. I am already excitedly planning to print some of my calligraphy projects onto fabric in 2020.

The first set of postcards are now available! These are contemporary designs showing the pepe and pūrerehu (butterflies and moths) of the Wellington region.
