“Sustainability-Linked Loans are a great way we can work together with businesses, combining our strength as a lender with their power to deliver projects and initiatives that benefit our environment and our communities,” says Westpac NZ Head of Sustainable Finance Joanna Silver.

Yesterday we launched the Insights on Sustainability Professionals survey with Oxygen, AUT - Auckland University of Technology and Sustainable Business Network, asking all sustainability professionals to share their insights on their time in the industry.

This survey research is critical to ensuring the health and adaptability of the sustainability profession, and that's a key part of SBC's Thriving People mahi. So we got our Thriving People team Robert Perry and Megan Gallagher to break down exactly what the Insights on Sustainability Professionals research survey is, and why it's important. Check out the video below, or on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUOwLNf1DqM

📣This is not a drill – Oxygen Consulting, AUT - Auckland University of Technology, SBC and the Sustainable Business Network's Insights on Sustainability Professionals research survey is live today, and we’re asking all sustainability professionals in the rapidly evolving sustainability industry to take part.

In its third year, the 2022 research investigates the supply and demand challenges facing the profession and organisational readiness to meet the growing need for sustainability. This theme is explored through four key areas: sustainability resourcing; leadership and governance support structures; sustainability career pathways and development; and wellbeing and support of sustainability professionals.

“The responses to this survey will provide valuable insights into preparing for the pathway from ambition to action, and how we may need to adapt to meet future requirements, as well as support those working in the profession as the demand for these kinds of skills continues to increase,” says Mike Burrell, Executive Director of SBC.
