We replaced the worn out white sapphire from this very well loved ring, with a new lab-grown diamond and retipped the claws, giving this ring a whole new life.

In this strange economy, the only thing going down in price seems to be gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Gold is down 10% in a week.

So unlike the petrol companies or banks we can drop our incoming jobs and quotes immediately.

Over the weekend our Goldsmith visited the Jewellery Industry fair in Melbourne.

We met with a range of new and existing suppliers, especially exciting to meet with new sapphire suppliers out of the Queensland gem fields.

The trip also gives our Goldsmith an opportunity to visit specialist jewellery tool shops in Melbourne which we simply don’t have in Wellington.
