Just added, a absolute stunner of a sapphire.

We have been wondering around the workshop looking the colour range of this beautiful stone.

Misty blue green in dim light, a bright green yellow in intense light and an interesting blue yellow star look indirect light.

As we head towards the busy season and Christmas we need to get some jobs underway as soon as possible.

In particular we need to get remakes underway, where we take your old gold and melt it and make it into something new, as these are handmade they take a bit of time so we have limited capacity and are taking roughly 6 weeks currently.

So if you have old gold you would like made into new rings or bangles we need to chat within the next few weeks.

If you have a quote or job underway you are guaranteed by Christmas.

Remake: Transforming old unsuitable pieces of jewellery into something new.

The key with remaking jewellery is to keep the new item as simple as possible. As we do actually use the exact gold we are given so we encourage simple rings or bangles to save time and cost.

In this case we made a beautiful bangle, with a finished weight of around 22 grams.

Open today 10-2 along side the spring festival.

With Main Street closed the best way to get to us is park in the old Woolworths carpark and walk down Geange street. Our portion of Geange street is open.

Condition: Very worn.

This ring has been worn next to a ring where the diamonds sick out a little, both rings were constantly rubbing against each other which has ground down the sapphires and claws to be flat. Over approximately 40 years.

We have replaced all the claws and added a new sapphire and it is now back being worn (more carefully)
