Condition: Very worn.

This ring has been worn next to a ring where the diamonds sick out a little, both rings were constantly rubbing against each other which has ground down the sapphires and claws to be flat. Over approximately 40 years.

We have replaced all the claws and added a new sapphire and it is now back being worn (more carefully)

Our steam cleaner is back from being repaired. We use it for cleaning the dirt and grime off rings and jewellery. We certainly miss it when it’s not here.

This $5000 machine runs all day everyday on the finest electricity and distilled water and we will even use it to clean your rings for free!

Unfortunately our customer had lost the garnet from their sentimental ring. The reason was pretty clear the setting wasn’t strong enough.

We replaced the setting adding in V claws to securely cover the corners, we also add in a under bezel which is a fine ring under the stone, this stops the claws being ripped backwards.

Winter is traditionally quieter in a jewellery workshop, so we schedule tasks around this “quieter time” but turns out it’s not quiet at all.

Before the weather turned we managed to get some painting done across the front of the store.

We are continuing with background renovations, mainly behind our workshop to expand future capacity as things are showing no signs of slowing down.
