You see others online regularly putting up new photos of themselves with their loved ones.
You watch how they are changing, growing up, growing old - doing it together and going through life with new experiences and new memories to capture in pictures and videos.
You, on the other hand had your photographic time-captures stop - maybe very suddenly, and now you only have the same cherished snapshots of your loved one to look at over and over.
How very painful for you. How terribly heartbreaking to not be able to keep adding to your memories with that wonderful soul you loved and still love so much.
I know we all eventually take that last photo with someone we cherish, but we never know when it will be, so we might say “nah, I don’t feel like it today” or “I don’t look nice”, or “next time”…. without any idea there won’t be a next time.
This is going out to all of you who didn’t get that next time.
Who see others with their family photos and growing children, grandchildren.
Who see others with their partners, parents, friends and family members, still having good times and growing old together.
All those cute pet pics - when you have lost your precious fur-friend.
This is for you.
So if you’re reading this, just know I care, and I see you holding those treasured photos close. 💖

🌟If only I’d had more time with you,
there’s no end to the things we’d do.
I’d make each day so loving, so full,
I’d have such comfort and cherish them still.
But we never know how long we’ll stay,
and just being together day to day,
Is the gift I will ever have through time,
so I’ll always be grateful I could call you mine. 🌟
