The Ringmakers was established in 1985 by Graeme and Chris Castle and is owned by Brent and Aimee White. The Ringmakers is well known for the creation high quality custom jewellery, produced in our upstairs workshop by our goldsmiths. We also make a variety of diamond and coloured stone rings and other pieces for stock. Talk directly to one of our goldsmiths who will listen to your ideas, add sugg

estions and advice, and then design and create for you a piece of jewellery that you will treasure. In addition to manufacturing, we stock a range of watch and jewellery brands, with a focus on quality and style. Our featured brands include: Pandora, Karen Walker, Stolen Girlfriends Club and STOW Lockets as well as watches by Citizen, Casio, ICE Watch, Bering and Olympic. We also have in store a selection of New Zealand greenstone pendants hand-crafted by West Coast and Northland artisans.

Congratulations are in order! After winning Apprentice of the Year in 2025, Barnaby has followed this up by completing his qualification! Here is some lovely flowing style for Friday! Handmade in gold by Brent for a great friend and supporter of The Ringmakers, it features tension-set sapphires and diamonds which appear to float between wavy gold wires. This looks absolutely stunning on the finger. Special thanks to our customer for the thank you goodies, too……we have discovered that it is possible to power Brent almost entirely with chocolate! 🍫❤️⭐️

If you need some inspirational mid-week sparkle to brighten things up, look no further! Brent has recently handmade this four carat oval diamond ring featuring a bead-set diamond band. To add some extra glittery brilliance, it also features a hidden halo of diamonds. It is now on our lovely customer’s finger and looking spectacular!! 😍💎
