I’m a proud māmā to a 14-year-old and currently working full-time at a kura. Outside of mahi, you’ll often find me on the netball or around the basketball court, keeping active, watching my daughter and connected with my community.
My creative journey began around ten years ago when I first started making jewellery—an experience that sparked my passion and led to the birth of Kuru Inc. Over time, that passion expanded into rongoā, deepening my connection to healing and traditional practices.
Most recently, I’ve completed a six-month mahi toi course, further growing my skills and grounding my work in creativity and culture.
Kuru Inc is a reflection of my growth, my whakapapa, and the different journeys I’ve taken—and I’m excited to keep weaving these pathways together.
