One more reason to visit Golden Bay .... to see the Takahē! Once considered to be extinct, we are very lucky to have some now residing at Pūponga Farm Park at the base of Farewell Spit where we can more easily see them going about their takahē business. Here's hoping they enjoy their new home after being relocated from up on the Heaphy track 🤞
