Some rings are designed.
Others are told like a story.

This engagement ring was created with him to honour two parts of her heritage and the things she loves most.

Carved into the wax, and cast into 14k yellow gold is a flowing henna-inspired pattern, reflecting her Nepali roots and her love of creating henna art. The rich yellow of the gold echoes the warmth of traditional high-carat yellow gold jewellery worn in Nepal.

A ruby sits on one side of the band, representing Nepal and the red of its flag. 🇳🇵
A sapphire is tucked into the henna pattern on the other side, a quiet tribute to her Scottish heritage and the blue of Scotland’s flag. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

At the centre sits an oval diamond, surrounded by four peridots and framed by two marquise diamonds, bringing light to a ring filled with meaning.

Pieces like this are always a joy to bring to life.

Looking back at these moments, I had no idea what motherhood was about to teach me.
Growing, carrying, becoming; not just physically, but in every way.
Becoming a mother has also made me see my own mum in a completely different light. Seeing a photo of her pregnant with my little sister now carries so much more meaning, a deeper understanding, gratitude, and admiration for everything she held and carried before I ever knew it.
Motherhood has been the hardest and most rewarding journey of my life. It has stretched me, softened me, and shaped me into a better version of myself.
To all the mums; past, present, and becoming; your strength, love, and resilience never go unnoticed. You are extraordinary.
