What amazing talent and patience to create this 🤩

In this larger-than-life mural, yarn adorns the entire wall of a building in the Lisbon district of Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal. The mural is titled Switch-over and was crafted by Ana Martins, a 22-year-old artist who used over 2,300 screws and 700 metres of wool to bring her work to life.

This Wednesday is our last for this year and we are meeting @ 12 for a shared lunch 🌲🎅🥗🍲.
We will be taking a break thru December and January, we will update here when we have worked out our dates and ideas for next year.

This week we are making covered boxes.

You'll need a box that you want to cover (a shoe or boot box), plus pva glue, fabrics and ribbons/laces, beads etc to decorate it.

Our floating teacup and saucer projects were so much fun to do today 😊 and they all look so different.
Two ladies still have some more they want to do on them so they will finish them next week.

A floating tea cup of course 😁, and that's what we are going to attempt to create this week 🤞😀
