There’s nothing that fills our hearts more than creating jewellery that carries real meaning. ❤️

This bracelet was especially special — we carefully incorporated a treasured family pearl into a beautiful new design for a sister’s wedding. Something old and something new, gently brought together to become a gift full of love and memory.

We feel so privileged to help turn personal treasures into keepsakes that will be worn and cherished for years to come.

Some weeks are hard, this week was one of those.
It made us want to close the doors for good.

Here's why (because many of you only see what we choose to share online):

👩🏽‍🏭👨🏾‍🔧 We are only a two person team doing everything in and around our business.
🪛 We don't have a full workshop with all the equipment and tools we need to create what we want to.
👩‍💻 We don't have the tech training we would ideally like.
💰 We don't have the capital we need to grow how we would like to.
👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 We have two young boys.
♿ One has a disability.
🏥 We have lots of extra costs because of his extra needs.
🚫 We are struggling to stay afloat in an economy where luxury items have been cut hugely.
🍽️ Our business is what feeds our family and right now it's not covering everything we need it to.

We don't know what the future holds for us but we choose to wake up and put one foot in front of the other every day in the hope for brighter days, we have seen them before and hope to see them again soon.

We hope this post reaches other business owners who are feeling deflated and wondering if it's all worth it.

Sometimes things aren't planned and they end up being exactly what you need 🙌🏽
If you'd asked me if I ever thought I'd be a jeweller, the answer would have been no. But here we are! It just shows how life has a funny way of paving a path that you could have never anticipated.
