The end of an era💫 Finishing July 3rd ✨

As you will know by now this chapter of Lily and Luna is coming to an end. I’ve been putting off setting a final date because... well that makes it real and that thought has been harder than expected. But the time has come, with the websites final day open being Friday 3rd July - a date that is extra special as it is also my little ones birthday. It feels like a fitting day to close one chapter and celebrate another.

As I close this chapter, there are a few things I definitely won’t miss...

📸 Product photography. To be fair, I took most of the photos myself, and I think it’s safe to say professional photography was never my calling. A lot of “that’ll do” and hoping for the best.

💻 Website uploads, stocktake and edits. Hours of uploading, resizing, coming up with names and captions and still making lots of mistakes…

🤯 The stress that comes with trying to wear every hat in the business at once while still doing all things life - māmā, mahi, study and all the in betweens..

I learnt pretty quick that running a small business means being the owner, photographer, website manager, customer service team, packer, marketer and problem solver all in one. It’s been rewarding, but I won’t be sad to hand a few of those jobs back.l 🫣😅
