I will be running a Jewellery making class over the weekend of Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24 2026
We will be recycling your old gold or silver jewellery into something new. It starts at 930am on Saturday.
The price is $325 for the weekend
This is a private booking for a group of 4 so there is 1 space available.
I will be running another class on the 20st and 21nd of June the brief will be the same.
I am taking registration for both classes now.
Although the brief is recycled jewellery don’t let that stop you if you don’t have materials to work with. You can purchase materials from me on the day.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Once I have your confirmation via email ill send you an invoice for the class. Send expressions of interest to [email protected].

Happiest of fantastic fancy Friday to everyone. Rings with stories this week. #1 gold with diamonds sapphires garnets and emeralds. This was my first commission in New Zealand made over 20 years ago for my good friends Andy Green and Rachel Philpot. Every once in a while they have a significant event and the ring gets another stone. Emeralds added this time. Ring #2 a long lost friend from university contacted me and asked me to make this ring for her daughter as a graduation gift. It’s been 39 years Karen Keeler, what an honour to work on this project for you. Ring #3 in 18k recycled gold from a young lady’s grandmother’s estate diamonds reset in a robust setting that should last another lifetime of active wear. Have a great weekend everyone.

Happiest of fantastic fancy Friday to you all. An interesting mix of diamonds sapphire ruby gold and silver this week. Grace me with a comment if you know which is which! A special birthday present for my son in this mix. A pair of vampire teeth in sterling silver with rubies set in them for that goth style grill. Happy Friday everyone! It’s a lovely but windy day here in old Cromwell but the sun is shining and the air is fresh. I hope this finds you all well. Enjoy your weekend. If you spend more than $1000.00 on wedding jewelry for her I’ll make you a sturdy silver band at no extra charge so you have something that says you are hers. Happy Friday everyone. Today’s feature is a custom alloy 12k yellow gold set with diamonds. This ring is cast in 2 parts then assembled using square wire for the filigree on the sides. Diamonds set in bezel channel and what is referred to lately as punch setting although I’ve never used a punch to set diamonds in this way so I’ve always referred to it as Gypsy setting. It’s been a fantastic Friday and a wonderful week. I look forward to seeing you all next Friday!!
