Here you'll find jewellery handmade in New Zealand using real ethically sourced wings.
This work was born from a deep love and call to the Monarch butterfly. A symbol of transformation, rebirth and sacred migration. It reminds us of the quiet strength found in surrender.
The monarch became the heart of my work- and the beginning or Terra Coil.
Over time my reverence expanded. I began working with other winged beings; Dragonflies, cicadas, moths. Each carrying their own essence and story. Every wing I use is ethically sourced, always found passed naturally. Gifted to me by chance, not harm.
These specimens are fleeting. Some are so rare I may only create one or two pairs a year- this is not fast fashion.
It is a resurrection.
A collaboration with nature.
A preservation of impermanence.
A ritual of transformation.
