I recently had the opportunity to design some pieces for the Auckland Art Gallery Toi O Tāmaki shop to be sold in conjunction with the Robertson Gift exhibition. Pictured are 3 of the designs which are currently available online and in the galleries shop. These pieces are inspired by Henri Matisse’ cut outs. This was such a fun process for me. My jewellery design had become stagnant after a major life event 18 months ago which left me feeling uninspired and time poor. This opportunity came along at the perfect time to get me feeling confident in my work and with inspiration from Matisses art to feel the flow of the design process once more. A huge thanks to Emma from the Galleries shop for her support and motivation.

Hand sawn copper sheet, resin enamel which has been baked and sanded and sterling silver ear wires/posts.

The Robertson Gift: Paths through Modernity celebrates the monumental gift of significant artworks from the collection of New York philanthropists Julian (1932–2022) and Josie Robertson (1943–2010) to the Gallery. 
The donation comprises 15 works by influential modern European artists, including Pierre Bonnard, Georges Braque, Paul Cezanne, Salvador Dalí, André Derain, Henri Fantin-Latour, Paul Gauguin, Fernand Léger, Henri Matisse, Piet Mondrian and Pablo Picasso.

The Collaboration Boutique has launched in Whanganui and I am one of the super special Collaborators involved. Located in one of Whanganui's historic buildings, the old fire station. You will find us in the courtyard at 139 Guyton Street. Our Collaboration kaupapa creates opportunities for artists, artisans and small businesses to grow.
We are open extended hours for the AOS Whanganui Open studios
Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm
Saturday & Sunday 10am - 3pm
