I recently had the opportunity to design some pieces for the Auckland Art Gallery Toi O TÄmaki shop to be sold in conjunction with the Robertson Gift exhibition. Pictured are 3 of the designs which are currently available online and in the galleries shop. These pieces are inspired by Henri Matisseâ cut outs. This was such a fun process for me. My jewellery design had become stagnant after a major life event 18 months ago which left me feeling uninspired and time poor. This opportunity came along at the perfect time to get me feeling confident in my work and with inspiration from Matisses art to feel the flow of the design process once more. A huge thanks to Emma from the Galleries shop for her support and motivation.
