So this is the result today. I made a divider inside instead of a pocket as it got a bit fiddly in the smaller space. It had a small carabiner inside too and adjustable strap. Not personally my favourite size, but we’ll see

I made this pouch last week. It was a misunderstanding with Anne Beadazzle . She had asked me to make some purses approx this size, and Iwent ahead and did this patchwork purse. Apparently that was not what she wanted at all, but a smaller size cross body bag with a strap.

This cover I finished on Sunday. It had gone really well, till I got ready to do the turn ins. Somehow I had managed to work to the wrong line on the paper and it was about 2 inches too long . I was so annoyed at myself! Anyway after leaving it for a while I sorted the problem, and here it is

Finished the second journal this afternoon, having bought several more Visual Art Journals. This one was sewn onto heavy craft paper, I have interfaced the cover with a thinner craft to cover the stitches so they don’t wear. Folding was much easier than the fabric one, and I have lined the inside covers with attractive paper and finished the fold over with washi tape. You an reuse this cover if you wish, and take it off very carefully

My lovely friend Kerry sent me some New Zealand themed fabrics to work with. Here’s the first bag I made. A smaller tote, lined with a heavier linen type fabric to give it a bit more body. Recycled denim, and bee buttons. I was looking for lime green buttons, but whilst I have lots of them, I didn’t have two that were the same !
