Our final event of the year was a wonderful collaboration,
The Art of Preserving, The Art of Creating.
It was an exclusive evening celebrating art heritage, fine jewellery, and exceptional cuisine.
A huge thank you to Carolina Izzo, Managing Director and Head Conservator at Studio Izzo, for opening her studio and sharing insights drawn from her extensive experience in art conservation both here in New Zealand, where she has worked on prestigious works by Goldie, Hotere, and Lindauer, and in Italy, where her work is recognised by the Italian government.
We were joined by Prodotti, who provided our delicious Italian delicacies, including 66-month Parmigiano Reggiano, Culatello di Modena, and exquisite fine wine. Prodotti were represented by Marco Canegallo and Vittorio Barbati.
Lastly, I spoke about my craft and career, highlighting some of my latest work and sharing what I have planned for 2026 and beyond.
My next event will involve gemmology with rare gemstones, that can be viewed through a micrscope.
