Travelling with jewellery doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated.

My favourite travel hack? Simple little plastic bags.

Each piece gets its own bag, which means no tangles, no scratches, and no arriving at your destination with a knot of chains to untangle before dinner.

They take up almost no space, cost next to nothing, and tucked inside a small pouch, they keep your collection organised and protected wherever you’re headed.

Not just pearls.

She didn’t want to touch her original pearls.

So we didn’t.

We made a second strand instead… Re-thread, opened up, and ready to be worn differently.

Now she gets to keep the original… And have a little more fun with the rest.

She already had the pieces.

They just weren’t being worn.

So we reworked them… pearls re-thread on black silk with open ends, a ring resized, and a heart clasp from a bracelet brought in as a connector.

Everything she inherited, now worn in a way that feels like her.

Nothing replaced. Just brought back to life.

I come back to this often… Playing with asymmetry and repetition to create a bit more a bit more interest without over complicating it.
