Pearls transformed, a couple of repairs, an old brooch given a new lease on life… basically, a little bit of everything. ❤️

And this is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

You don’t need to come to me knowing exactly what you want. In fact, you don’t need to have a clue. 🤣 Bring me the pieces sitting unworn in your jewelry box and we can work through them together – what’s worth repairing, what we can change, what we can turn into something completely different, and most importantly, what will actually make you want to wear them again.

And you absolutely don’t need to be in New Zealand. I work with clients all over the world via Zoom. Technology is rather handy like that – we can pull everything out, talk through ideas and play with possibilities while being on opposite sides of the world. 🌎

You don’t need an old strand of pearls or beads to create something completely personal. ❤️

This client came to me wanting black beads, so I sourced beautiful black Onyx, threaded them on baby blue silk and made the strand the exact length she needed to work with the jewelry she already owns.

We finished them with solid gold open-end caps and a connector, then added a Pascale Monvoisin constellation charm.

Easy to wear, a little unexpected, and completely hers.

I might play it fairly safe with my clothes, but my jewelry is where I like to have fun. More is more, sentimental pieces mixed with new ones, colour, charms, diamonds – basically anything that makes me happy when I put it on.

Your jewellery should bring you joy. It doesn’t need to match perfectly, follow rules, or make sense to anyone else.

Beautiful pearls, but with a little more personality. 💙

We thread these gorgeous, lustrous pearls on navy silk, added solid gold open end caps and a connector, then finished them with this spherical charm.

I chose the charm because I love how its shape echoes the pearls – everything feels cohesive, but just that little bit more unexpected and playful.

Because really, I think we could all use a little more whimsy in our lives. ❤️

And that’s a wrap on my pre-recorded Japan content! I’m heading home this afternoon and will be back in New Zealand tomorrow – rested 😂, inspired and very ready to get back to all your jewellery ✨

But then this client turned up with a literal bag of jewellery, and there was no way I was cutting any of it.

Dark pearls, dark silk, solid gold open end caps, and a sprinkle of celestial charms for a client who trusted me with her pearls. A star and a zodiac charm were absolutely the right call. ⭐

I’m off in Japan right now, but I pre-recorded a few things so you’re not stuck staring at an empty feed for two weeks. Consider this a little postcard from me to you. 💌

My highly sophisticated jewellery travel system 🤣

Every piece goes into its own little plastic bag so nothing tangles, scratches or rubs together, then everything gets tucked into one small pouch and stays in my handbag. WITH ME. AT ALL TIMES.

Compact, secure, and I can keep a slightly obsessive eye on it 🤣

And if you’re someone who puts your jewelry in your checked suitcase… What I don’t know can’t hurt me. ✈️ 💍
