Sometimes things don't go as planned. From an old broken bone armband I sawed two slices and tapered them to look like fruitparts. The plan was for a pair of earrings. All looked well till the drilling broke a piece. Bummer. These will be finished maybe with a new adaptation.🙂🫂

Ticking Away. Actuaully I fell in love with the hands and decided to make somenthing around it. I started out with the numbers and sawing them out I didn't like the 6 and 9. Second take satisfied me. Rivets made the intervals. The wooden body I made some years ago so I chiseled a hole for the battery clock. Fun putting it together, happily ticking away now.😉🙂😘

You'll be able to wittnes the works these artists, including me, entered as their personal choices. You'll also be able to look into workspaces where these creations are made an meet the wonderful people at MIAW.🎉🎊😃🫂🥰

Yesterday I took up this centerpiece. I'd sawed out the figures some years ago without making it into something. I came up yesterday with the idea to mount it on something and considerd wood and plastic first. Then I checked my brass stash and found the clock plate that fit the order. Could chance to practice rivets again.😉
