A little trip through Fi’s history…

I opened my first tiny shop in the Klarestraat in Arnhem in 2014. Back then, Fi was quite different: alongside my own work, I showcased jewellery, art and design by local and international artists and designers. Also, it was called Filadelfeos (my surname). Difficult for the Dutch to say! Two years later, I moved to the Zwanenstraat. A beautiful space and amazing neighbours - and amongst others. I shortened the name - just Fi.

Over the years, something became increasingly clear — people were coming especially for the jewellery I made myself. So around 2017, Fi gradually changed direction and became what it is today: a shop dedicated entirely to my own work.

In 2023 we moved to our current location in the Kerkstraat. We put a lot of personal work into this shop to make it what it is today and we're super proud of it ❤️ Last year, another wonderful addition to the Kerkstraat, Nozili moved next to us.

Three locations, many changes and a lot of experimenting later, we’ve been at home in the Kerkstraat.

The shops changed along the way too. Different spaces, different interiors, more antiques, old mirrors, paintings and objects collected over the years — slowly becoming the Fi Atelier you see today.

And somehow, after all these years, people still regularly walk in and ask: “Did you just open?” 😄

So no - not quite new. Just still being discovered - and constantly evolving.

I've had these earring since forever and they're still my favourite 🫶
They're solid brass, no gold-plating, no allergies, no nonsense - just a beautiful warm shine, made entirely in our atelier.
And we still make them, 9 years later.

A little look inside Atelier Fi ✨

Tucked away in the 7 Straatjes in the centre of Arnhem, our little shop is filled with handmade jewellery, gemstones, old mirrors, antiques and paintings collected by me & my family over the years.

I opened my first shop in Arnhem in 2013, and have been here in the Kerkstraat for the past four years — although people still regularly walk in and ask if we’ve just opened. 😄
