Fi Atelier

I am Eleana Filadelfeos, owner and creative director of the jewellery brand Fi. My jewellery love and expertise come from over 20 years of working in the art and jewellery world as a professional art conservator and graduate gemmologist. My passion has always been in touching, identifying, cleaning, treating, creating and observing objects of art or jewellery. I'm at my happiest wearing my jewelle

r's apron, sporting dirty fingers and my precious tool collection 🔨 I visualise, design and create every piece in my atelier, often making a lot of noise and creating a big pile of mess 💥 I put all my effort in this process. This is important to me because I want my clients to buy a piece for its value and not for the marketing behind it. This is also how I keep my prices low 😉

Sustainability, ethical produce and minimising waste is important to me. I also keep an open ear for feedback and further learning. My bucketlist vacay to Bremen, finally!

The Bremen courthouse is connected to the old police station with a number of bridges in Renaissance Revival & Neo-Gothic style

The house (now a museum) of expressionist painter Paula Modersohn-Becker. Love the expressive, bold use of red bricks
History:
The Wilhelm Bauer WWII U-boat, the only surviving type XXI in the world was a revolutionary design. It is now a museum

The colossal concrete Valentin Bunker, built as a bomb-proof submarine assembly. It is now a memorial documenting forced labour & war crimes
Wine:
Had a wonderful flight of skin contact Grauburgunder at Grape & Salt
Music:
Brahms’s German Requiem conducted by Teodor Currentzis with the Utopia Orchestra & Choir at St Petri Dom was magnificent
Local Vibe:
The local pub had a live blues band so we had to check it out
