🚨NEW WATCH ALERT

The cosmos, completely unmasked. 🌌✨

Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches has unveiled a spectacular new masterpiece: the Planetarium Skeleton Platinum (Ref. CKPT22SK). Limited to just 6 individually numbered pieces worldwide, this creation brings unprecedented transparency to the world’s smallest mechanical planetarium.

Beneath a transparent sapphire dial, light flows through to reveal the intricate gearing and custom rhodium-plated bridges shaped after the Maison's iconic 12-claw Sun logo. Encased in a 40 mm platinum frame, the dial displays the real-time orbits of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn alongside date and month indications. The movement is powered by the automatic in-house Calibre CKM-01, offering a 60-hour power reserve. Completing the piece are blued Roman numeral indexes, blue-accented planetary rings, and a dark blue FKM sailcloth strap featuring a platinum logo folding clasp.

Priced at EUR 86,000 excluding VAT.

Available now for inquiry via Ace Jewelers. Drop us a DM or visit us online at AceJewelers.com to discover more about this rare piece of Dutch horological history! 📩👇

An absolute masterclass in openworked geometry, perfect for this week’s . Turn over the brilliant, experimental MING 29.06 "Peep Show" and you are greeted by the incredibly striking Schwarz-Etienne for MING Calibre ASE 200.M1. 🌀

Rather than taking a traditional path, founder Ming Thein designed this automatic movement around a philosophy of transparency and rich, multi-layered depth. Every element is a structural triumph: from the openworked, dark-treated bridges and the skeletonized barrel that acts as a physical power reserve indicator, to the sculptural tungsten micro-rotor and a four-level "staircase" rotor guard finished with immaculate, diamond-cut anglage. It’s an ultra-modern kinetic playground that looks just as dramatic and captivating from the back as it does from the front. 🔬

Bringing a fresh, high-octane perspective to independent watchmaking. Emerging from his years of technical design leadership, AHCI member Anton Suhanov creates wrist-worn spectacles that challenge traditional dial layouts. ⚙️

This automotive-inspired creation trades standard circular hands for a retrograde display that mimics a vintage dashboard speedometer. Housed in a beautifully sculpted Reuleaux polygon case, the watch turns time-telling into an incredible mechanical performance. It’s a brilliant fusion of classical haute horlogerie and contemporary performance engineering. 🏁

An extraordinary meeting of minds in modern independent watchmaking. The Behrens x Konstantin Chaykin collaboration perfectly blends the innovative micro-engineering of Behrens with the iconic, playful soul of Chaykin's Wristmons universe. 🎭

This striking timepiece features a lightweight marbled carbon fiber case with intense red accents, paired with a vibrant red rubber strap. The dial showcases the legendary "Joker" face layout, where the mechanical eyes display the hours and minutes while the dramatic, wide grin anchors the display with Behrens' signature approach to unconventional time indication. It's a spectacular, high-octane fusion that delivers a rebellious spirit and incredible mechanical artistry to the wrist. 🏎️

An incredibly charismatic addition to the independent master watchmaker's bestiary. The Konstantin Chaykin Panda Titanium beautifully marks the beginning of his highly anticipated "East" collection series. 🐼

Crafted from lightweight, hypoallergenic titanium, this charming Wristmon features upper lugs cleverly sculpted out of a black carbon-fiber composite to form the panda’s ears, while the crown is neatly tucked away at the 6 o'clock position. The dial brings the cuddly face to life by utilizing fine sandblasting against a radial wavy guilloché relief to capture the soft texture of a panda's coat, complete with the iconic rotating eye discs for the time and a smiling moonphase mouth. It’s a brilliant celebration of high-end horology that refuses to take itself too seriously. 🎋

🚨 New Watch Alert: Konstantin Chaykin SC02C Space Chronograph. 🧑‍🚀

🚀 TESTED IN OUTER SPACE. NOW AVAILABLE ON EARTH. 🌍️

At Ace Jewelers, we are proud to represent some of the most innovative and independent watchmakers in the world. Few embody that spirit better than Konstantin Chaykin, the award-winning Russian watchmaker whose creations consistently push the boundaries of mechanical horology.

Today, we are excited to introduce the Konstantin Chaykin SC02C, a remarkable chronograph born from a real-world space program and now released in an ultra-exclusive Limited Edition of just 28 pieces worldwide.

For most brands, "space-inspired" is a marketing term.

For the SC02C, space is reality.

Developed in close collaboration with Roscosmos, the SC02C traces its origins back to a mission-critical challenge: creating a mechanical chronograph capable of functioning during extravehicular activities. Since 2018, Konstantin Chaykin's Manufacture has worked continuously to develop and refine watches intended for use beyond Earth's atmosphere.

The journey began with the original Space Conqueror prototypes, which were sent to the International Space Station in 2021. One prototype was tested inside the station, while another accompanied cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky during spacewalks outside the ISS. Following detailed analysis of those missions, the chronograph was further refined and returned to space in 2022 with cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev.

Most recently, on 27 May 2026, cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergey Mikayev spent more than six hours outside the station equipped with next-generation Konstantin Chaykin space chronographs attached directly to their Orlan-MKS spacesuits.

In total, Konstantin Chaykin watches have now participated in four separate spacewalks, making the SC02C one of the very few mechanical wristwatches in modern horology with genuine EVA heritage.

The civilian SC02C brings that extraordinary experience to collectors while continuing the project's ongoing research. Owners are invited to wear their watches in everyday life, under demanding conditions, and provide feedback that may influence future generations of professional-grade space instruments.

⚙️ Built for Extremes

While the SC02C presents itself as a classic mechanical chronograph, every design decision serves a practical purpose.

Its highly legible black dial features oversized hands, luminous markers, a 12-hour rotating bezel, and anti-reflective sapphire crystal, all developed with the needs of professional cosmonauts in mind. The distinctive red-tipped hour hand, inspired by the Mars Conqueror series, improves readability when using the bezel for extended time measurements.

Beneath the surface lies a watch engineered for conditions far beyond everyday use:

• Anti-magnetic protection up to 4,800 A/m
• High-vacuum resistant construction down to 1 × 10⁻⁶ ATM
• Water resistance to 10 ATM
• Reverse dovetail sapphire crystal mounting system designed to resist pressure fluctuations and extreme loads
• Extensive testing including centrifuge, vibration, impact, heat and cold exposure

Even the supplied straps reflect the watch's origins. Each SC02C includes both a standard fabric strap and an extended version designed for mounting over a spacesuit.

🔧 The Legendary Calibre

Rather than developing a completely new in-house movement, Konstantin Chaykin deliberately chose proven reliability.

The manually wound Calibre K.20-5 is based on the historic Poljot 3133, a movement whose lineage traces directly back to Soviet space exploration. The Manufacture extensively upgrades the calibre with 60 proprietary components, adding a 12-hour chronograph counter, stop-seconds mechanism, enhanced balance architecture, and additional shock protection.

The result is a movement built not merely to impress collectors, but to withstand the rigors of genuine professional use.

🌍 Part of a Larger Vision

The SC02C represents another chapter in Konstantin Chaykin's long-running exploration of space and time.

From the groundbreaking Lunokhod with its patented moonphase display, to the ambitious Mars Conqueror series and Chaykin's research into Martian timekeeping, the Manufacture continues to explore how traditional mechanical watchmaking might one day accompany humanity beyond Earth.
