Some ear stories are created in one moment. Others grow with you over the years.

It has been such a pleasure to see Gaby Blaaser’s ear evolve, adding new piercings and jewellery along the way. A carefully curated combination of cartilage piercings, yellow gold studs, delicate rings, and white stones has gradually become an ear story that feels completely her own.

That’s what I love about ear curation. There is no need to create everything at once. Each new piercing or jewellery upgrade can become another chapter, while still keeping the complete composition balanced and personal.

And beyond the jewellery, I’m incredibly grateful for the continued trust and support over the years.

✨ When Piercing Meets Craftsmanship ✨

Some ear stories are built through collaboration, and this one is a beautiful example.

This curated ear was pierced and upgraded by the incredibly talented Melissa, Melissa - Pierce to be Fierce , during her time working with us at Kanpatha. From the cartilage piercings to the lobe piercings, every placement contributes to the flow and character of the complete ear.

To make the curation even more personal, I handcrafted several pieces especially for this ear at Kanpatha, including the delicate chains, the daith jewellery, and the triple marquise piece. Each detail was created to work with Melissa’s placements and bring movement, balance, and individuality to the finished composition.

This is what I love about a great ear story. Different elements, ideas, and craftsmanship coming together to create something completely personal.

For Amber Niluka Malkanthi, we started with a 16g gold septum ring, allowing the piercing to heal comfortably. Once fully healed, we carefully stretched it to 14g, creating a bolder look while maintaining a perfect fit.
