River etc to unveil and establish its own identity...

OKOROCHA RETURNS TO OWERRI AFTER SHORT TRIP
ABROAD
Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha
returned to Imo State yesterday after a short trip to
Europe. He arrived Abuja on Tuesday and
yesterday, he attended the Progressive Governors Forum 4th Lecture Series titled 'Building The
Economy Of States: Challenge Of Developing
Inclusive Sustainable Growth' held in Kaduna
before coming to Owerri.
He landed at the Sam Mbakwe airport at about 2:30
pm yesterday and was received by a large crowd who welcomed him with loud cheers.

The learned Justices of the Court of Appeal, Abuja
Division have set aside the very controversial
judgment of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal
High Court and have affirmed, unanimously, that
Okezie Victor Chibuikem Ikpeazu, BSc, MSc, Phd
remains the validly elected Governor of Abia State. For record purposes, the Court of Appeal Panel was
made up of the following five Justices -
Helen Morenikeji Ogunwumiju, JCA
Abubakar Dattijo Yahaya, JCA
Philomena Ekpe, JCA
Suleiman Hassan, JCA Ibrahim Shata Bdilya, JCA.

Government Special Announcement (Priority High) Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, wishes to
dissociate himself and the State Government from
all unauthorized collection of fees and levies of any
amount by the Aba Urban Renewal Committee
under the guise of "verification of building permit"
in Aba. Aba residents are strongly advised not to pay
money to anybody for the said purpose and to
report any such approach to security agencies in
the state. Furthermore, the Aba Urban Renewal team is
hereby directed to stop forthwith, from collecting or
molesting anybody in the name of such
unauthorized payment as the State Government will
not hesitate to take appropriate measures to deal

Breaking News: Court extends order, stopping
Abia CJ, others from swearing in Ogah
Abia State High Court in Osisioma has granted a
motion filed by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia
State for extension of Order restraining the Chief
Judge of Abia State, the President Abia State Customary Court of Appeal and any other judicial
officer from swearing in Mr. Uche Ogah, as
governor of the state.
The order extends to 18th July, 2016.
