Do you choose your jewelry based on your skin tone or body type?
Do you even know that your skin tone and body type can influence your choice of jewelry?
Some persons will see something that's fine on someone else and want the exact replica without considering these core factors; your skin color and body type.
Over time I have learnt to understand what will fit my body and what wouldn't no matter how fine it is on another person's body.
Yesterday, I wanted to get a new pair of earrings. Seeing that I have a full face, I love wearing big earrings
Yes, I wear studs sometimes, but when I need to look extra gorgeous for an event, I go for bold statement earrings to complement my outfit.
If I’m wearing a high-neck outfit, I go for long, full earrings since a necklace won’t be visible. To balance the look, I stack my bracelets and rings for that extra touch of elegance😌😌
For high-neck gowns or tops, a long layered necklace works beautifully for me—it adds a stylish touch without clashing with the outfit.
Well, we Never stop learning, so yesterday, I noticed something interesting: my skin tone can affect how my jewelry shines! I initially wanted to wear brown earrings to match my brown gown, but when I tried them on, they just blended in—no pop, no shine.
So, I switched to a brighter color, and even with my hair undone, the difference was clear. That was the one!😊
When choosing between gold and silver jewelry, I usually go for silver because it flatters my dark skin. But once in a while, I rock gold too.
As for chokers? Ah! With my full neck, I barely wear them—before I start looking like a balloon someone is trying to tie. 😂
What about you? Let’s talk!
