See Why God Doesn’t Interfere

God made the heavens and the earth and every true believer knows that. One would easily conclude that God shouldn’t need any permission from anyone to go where He wants and do whatever He likes on earth. Why? Yes, “The Lord is the earth and all it contains, the world and all who live there”. (Psalm 24:1). Yet, God will not interfere in the affairs of men unless men ask Him to. Where there is no voice to cry out, there would be no propensity to act. This is the mystery of prayer and the principle behind the many teachings of Christ about prayer. Learn and love the secret place of the Most High God (Psalm 26:8) so that when, “Ask and you shall received, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7). This was why when Jesus taught men to pray, He said they should pray like this, “Our Father in heaven…. Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Luke 11:2). You must pray the Kingdom to come for the Lord to act. From Genesis to Revelation, the testimony of scriptures is that it was when men prayed that things happened or changed on earth.

Prayer Will Commit God To Any Just Cause

When you earnestly pray, you make heaven liable by committing God to something. A good prayer is a burden unto God and a liability for the Kingdom. That means that you make heaven to be legally responsible for something on earth when you pray. Hear what the prophet said of God: “About Zion I will not be silent, about Jerusalem I shall not rest until saving justice dawns for her….” (Isaiah 62:1). This is how your prayer works on God. He makes Him not to rest. God does nothing if you do not press the button of prayer. Prayer is a terror for hell and a cause for trouble to every evil, wicked and unjust person. Jesus told us how in the same town dwells a judge who “neither fear God nor respect anyone.” And a widow who refused to be silenced or intimidated by such a judge. (Luke 18:2-3). “In the same town!” The prayer of this widow gave the judge trouble that he said, “I must give this widow her just rights since she keeps pestering me, or else….” (Luke 18:5). No matter the wickedness in the same town or city with a consistent, persistent and a convincing soul who prays, that praying person will prevail. This is what I termed “The mystery of prayer”. Prayer is a deep mystery that when you understand it, you can rule kingdoms with your prayer including the Kingdom of heaven. In prayer, you give God commitment and every just cause will always be on heaven’s special list to deal with.

God Wants To Hear You

Whenever there is a cry from a child, he draws attention. Where there is true prayer accompanied with praise and faith, there will be attention in heaven. Let’s look at what God told Moses at the burning bush. “The LORD then said, 'I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying for help on account of their taskmasters. Yes, I am well aware of their sufferings. And I have come down to rescue them from the clutches of the Egyptians and bring them up out of that country….” (Exodus 3:7, 8). God saw their misery but until their was a cry to God, there was no coming down for rescuing. He said again, “Yes indeed, the Israelites' cry for help has reached me…” (Exodus 3:9). Are you going through so much in life, do not stop praying. Those troubling you or your children have no peace either. The cry of prayer from the earth brings down the Kingdom from heaven. When you pray in this manner, you are not just moving God, you are invoking the authority, the glory and the power of the Kingdom.

Prayer Cannot Be Tied To Time
==============
Prayer is a continuous exercise. There is no time to say, “I have prayed enough.” Or “you are praying too much”. Only fools will tell you that your prayer is too much. How? Fools have never known to cherish what is good and noble. Listening to them is a waste of your precious life. Look at what Jesus commanded: “Then he told them a parable about the need to pray continually and never lose heart.” (Luke 18:1). Prayer is a need not just a want. There are persons who may be reading this message with a feeling of unanswered prayers that is generating questions about prayer in their minds. There is, or should I say, there seems to be non response from God about the matter tabled before Him. Do you want to know the truth? Almost every single person who accepted to serve and follow the Lord has asked questions or felt this way.

When Unanswered Prayer Makes You Bitter
==============
Unanswered prayers or expectations have caused terrible bitterness in the hearts of some and, let me tell you, that is a terrible deprivation of grace needed to pass through that valley. Nevertheless, be careful not to let your heart be drawn into the falsehood and error that has characterised this world. Stupid and evil suggestions will begin to creep into your mind. “Be careful that no one is deprived of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness should begin to grow and make trouble” (Hebrews 12:15). When such matter arises in your heart as to your prayers not being answered, give faith opportunity to triumph. The earth is losing faith and so they are losing touch with mystery to deal with the mysteries around their life, eating up their souls and causing depression to them. Faith is the oil that must keep men going and makes their prayer meaningful and effective. Listen to this: Faith answers what prayer is yet to solve. Prayer solves what faith holds on to. While prayers cannot be tied to time, prayer must be guarded and bounded by persevering faith.

How Much Do You Know Of God When You Pray

What makes a man to keep praying even when he could see that no answer is coming? The scripture! The Word of God remains the powerful means by which faith is generated, built, strengthened and set on fire. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God.” Hear this: “Only faith can guarantee the blessings that we hope for, or prove the existence of realities that are unseen.” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith helps you to build strong capacity for endurance, perseverance and persistence. A man who has found this will understand that no prayer goes unanswered. Read again the story Jesus gave about friends. A friend came to visit a friend in the middle of the night who, unfortunately, has nothing and went to another friend in the middle of the night who has something. (Luke 11:5-8). The drama is interesting. First it all happened at night which is a moment of uncertainty and dryness. There was a concern, which was not for himself but for a friend — A show of commitment and care. The going to another friend who was already on bed. What made him think he has some food or that he will answer and open the door for him? — Confidence, and faith. But why did he not leave when the friend told him the door was bolted already and it’s too late? He knew his friend so well, he trusted him, he understood what he is capable of doing. Even when his friend said “go away”, he waited because he knew his friend more than that. That gave him the impetus to persist with his friend and got answer. Do you know God this well as to believe that no matter what, there is no quitting because there will surely be an answer? When friendship cannot sustain your heart especially when you feel you aren’t as blessed as a child of God should, your persistence must show your faith-knowledge of the God you serve. Answer will speedily comes.

There is No Quitting in Prayer

God is everywhere and God sees and hears everything but we have been taught that God does not interfere until there is a reason to do so. You are the one to give God a reason when you begin to pray. So I tell you, give God reasons to interfere in your matter, do not stop storming heaven with prayer. The Word of God says, “Give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” (Isaiah 62:7). You will see how He will speedily act for you but only when prayer goes forth. Like Naomi told Ruth, “Do nothing, daughter, until you see how things have gone; I am sure he will not rest until he has settled the matter this very day.” (Ruth 3:18). I also encourage you this day, don’t surrender, don’t give up, don’t be tired, don’t get frustrated, do nothing stupid until God settles the matter. This is the mystery about prayer. It has every capacity to move God when it’s properly done. Prayer is called the key. What the key is to a door, prayer is to a man. There are many reasons a key may not open a door. Not necessarily because it’s a wrong key, but that the component of the door might be faulty. But there is still a way the door can be opened. Indeed, the Kingdom of God suffered violence but the violent takes it by force. (Matthew 11:12).

PRAYER FOR STRENGTH TO PRAY MORE

Troubles Can Lead You Break The Clutches Of Evil Perpetrators

The trouble you go through can either break your zeal or make you stronger in such a way that you can break out of the dominion of evil perpetrators and deliberate wickedness. Troubles can also make you turn a new leaf by dealing decisively with your bad habits. Sometimes, things you think you cannot do away with will no longer mean anything to you when you face certain troubles. Now, because of what you have been through, you no longer fear what you use to fear. The trouble you go through now creates a system in you where you begin to stand against oppressed system that you once had no courage to speak against. In this manner, God uses the trouble you go through to build your inner strength. As long as you are with God, your troubles must bring a change to your life, make you more determined for what is right and just, make you stronger and fearless.

The Five Things You Should Know About God To Get Over Your Troubles

Every time God’s children truly cry out to God, heaven comes down. Know these about God and you will find strength and peace in the days of troubles. You will find these and more all through the scriptures.
1. God is your shelter
2. God is your strength
3. God is always ready to help
4. God is with us
5. God is supreme
These two things you should do for yourself in times of trouble. The scripture says. “So we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the ocean depths;” (Psalms‬ ‭46:2‬), and second is this: to stop worrying or fighting yourself that you are helpless. Rather, “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). God will help those who call on Him and believe. Like the sinking Peter, who cried out to Jesus for help and also stretched out his hands to reach out to Him. This is what you should keep doing to find help in the days of trouble.

Do This Constantly To Find Joy In The Days Of Troubles
==============
Everybody is looking for joy. The man in pain or the man in abundance; the man in sickness or the man in health; the young and the old. Let me show you the way to be joyful even in your troubles. The Word of God speaks strongly and clearly to her children. “There is a river that brings joy to the city of God, to the sacred house of the Most High.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭46:4‬). When Jesus hung upon the Cross, the river flowed from His pierced side and whosoever drinks from it shall never thirst again. Learn to locate the rivers that bring joy and it always flow in the house of God. Go there and do not be gloating over your troubles by running away from God’s house. Staying away from God’s house s a disaster. Many brethren who did have lost greatest treasures for humanity. You know why you should go to the Church , the house of God when in trouble? Listen to His Word again! “God is in that city, and it will never be destroyed; at early dawn he will come to its aid.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭46:5).‬ Trouble may last through the night but joy comes at dawn. (Psalm 30:5). ‭Remember what Jesus told Peter, that the gates of hell cannot prevail against this house of God called, “The Church “. (Matthew 16:18). You are part of the Church as long as you preserve your body, the temple of the Holy Spirit. Three things will happen when you bring what troubles you before God. It doesn’t matter where it generates from. When God steps into your troubles. 1. Nations will be terrified. 2. Kingdoms will be shaken. 3. The earth will melt. (See Psalm 46:6).

God Will Show Up In Your Troubles
==============
The woman caught in adultery never saw anything wrong in what she was doing until she entered troubled. Those who caught her were persons who have power of decision and they had probably looked for opportunity to get her. Now they found one. Hear what they told Jesus: “In our Law Moses commanded that such a woman must be stoned to death. Now, what do you say?”” ‭‭(John‬ ‭8:5).‬ ‭ Now she had to face stoning to death according to their laws. What a terrible way to die. Wicked people will also do anything to get you into trouble and when you walk into it yourself, they will finish you. They were also trying to put Jesus in trouble by trapping him with what he would say. “They said this to trap Jesus, so that they could accuse him. But he bent over and wrote on the ground with his finger.” (John 8:6).
What could be the prayer she would be praying in her heart to God? May be she would be begging God to give her another chance and she will never go back to that lifestyle again. On a second thought, she would think it was over for her and begged God for mercy and accept her soul. See what our troubles can bring us to. Blessed, indeed, is that person who knows that he or she can still find hope to live again in the days that trouble visits. God will always show up when there is a cry from a humble and broken heart. It doesn’t matter whether you were the guilty one or not. When asked if the troublers are still there to destroy her, she said to Jesus, ““No one, sir,” she answered. “Well, then,” Jesus said, “I do not condemn you either. Go, but do not sin again.”]”
‭‭(John‬ ‭8:11‬). ‭Then she prayed, “I confessed all I have done, and you answered me; teach me your ways.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭119:26).‬ ‭

THE DAYS OF TROUBLES — THE “YOU” IN IT (Part 1)
Psalm 46; Philippians 1:6-11

This Is Why Troubles Won’t End
==============
Troubles don’t just come, something makes it happen. The water will always be clean and calm if nothing stirs it. Man would have continued to enjoy the presence of God and know the peace that goes with the presence if only man would walk in the way of God and trust every command He gives. But this has become difficult for man. Many want it their own way so, there will be trouble. Every time someone ignores the rules of God by doing the contrary, trouble will come. You need to not only learn but pray earnestly to remain in the path of God. “I pray that your love will keep on growing more and more, together with true knowledge and perfect judgement,” ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭1:9‬). If not, the trouble won’t end.

The Truth You Should Never Ignore
==============
Let me tell you this truth: the moment you step out of line with God, walking on a straight line will be very difficult. Don’t ignore what the Holy Spirit is telling you. It is not enough to think that you can easily come back to the way of God whenever you want to. So, as much as you can, fight going astray and preserve your love for Jesus. Hear me! When you chose to come back, it is not going to be a comfortable decision; never a smooth journey; it won’t be that easy but take it. You will be tampering with a system that is already used to a particular order. Indeed, a system has been altered and it will take a persistent, resolute, sincere, unwavering, fervent, committed and faith-driven path of discipline to fully recover yourself. Otherwise, you get frustrated along the way and back out. Unfortunately, the zeal to actualise this recovery is often lacking in many. So, there will still be troubles.

Your Readiness To Die Is Your Strength To Live

Unless you are willing to die, you can’t end that trouble in your life. This is what I call the ‘death of death’. The admonition of scripture is that for any to return back to God, he must be ready to kill every negative passion that is found in his heart and are feeding on your flesh. “You must put to death, then, the earthly desires at work in you, such as sexual immorality, indecency, lust, evil passions, and greed (for greed is a form of idolatry).” ‭‭(Colossians‬ ‭3:5). It calls this process to dying, “a must.” But you see, this is one of the difficult thing to do. Why? No body wants to die. It is a state of the flesh that generates the fear of death. Nevertheless, you must die if your true and real life will be manifested so that you can “share His glory.” (Colossians 3:4). When your sense of true judgment is not under siege, this is what will happen: “You will be able to choose what is best. Then you will be free from all impurity and blame on the Day of Christ.” ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭1:10).‬ ‭The trouble of the present world or that you are feeling is not anything compared to the troubles of the aftermath. Make up your mind now to walk away from the path of sin and evil. Whatever the troubles of the moment in the world, you will be rest assured of your peace in Christ Jesus. Bury your unbelief now if you don’t want to remain in your trouble.

You Feel Disconnected But Still Want God
==============
Do you still know Him? Do you believe in Him? Is your heart still beat for Him? It is a big time trouble for you if your answer to any of those questions are in the negative. Have you lost Him? Is hope lost? Is there anything you can still do despite that you go to God but you only feel your body present? Your spirit is not there and that makes it impossible for you to be in control of what you do. You are absent minded and so it is difficult to touch the Spirit of God. Iron sharpens iron. Only the spirit of man can recognise the Spirit of God. Spirit speaks to spirit. You see that because your life is not connecting, you are so helpless, terribly weak and frustrated to do anything about it. You are in trouble and troubled. Loosing God may mean nothing to someone who is completely lost. But if you still feel troubled where you are now, because you are disconnected from God, it is a sign that you are not completely lost but your soul is in danger and your spirit has been incarcerated, confined, imprisoned. You will continue to see your body doing what your spirit repulsed, rebuffed, repelled and reject. Since your spirit that is meant to checkmate the activities of your body and bring them under control is troubled and held captive, there is limit to what you can do. No man can pay the ransom for his own life. Seek counsel and help from those who are spiritually matured. Your troubles are on the way down.

These Troubles Can Still Work For Your Good
==============
I have encouraging words to you from the Lord. Your troubles may have succeeded to bring fears into your life and make you doubt God, and like Peter, you find yourself sinking in the waters of troubles, You must not stop praying, praising, worshipping, and reaching out to God. God is the ONLY solution to every trouble whether in the heart or in the world. God is waiting to give you help if you will cry out to Him. He needs your hand to hold. So, don’t be too afraid that you are unwilling to stretch out your little faith to Him. Listen to what Jesus said: “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”” ‭‭(John‬ ‭16:33). This is God’s invitation for you to be brave if you will be able to come out of the things that trouble you. Jesus has conquered this same world dragging you down. Make sure you let those troubles work for your good. How? They should make you seek God more, not away from Him. You may look dirty, but He can still wash you up and make you clean. The more you cry out to God for help from the depths of your spirit, the more attention you will get from above.

Please, Do Not End The Way Of The World
==============
The world and those who love it will never come out of their troubles because they will continue to go contrary to what God wants. They are proud and full of themselves such that in their riches they lack wisdom. Listen to this: “For those who despise wisdom and instruction are miserable. Their hope is vain, their labors are unprofitable, and their works are useless.” ‭‭(Wisdom‬ ‭3:11).‬ ‭ You can be out of trouble if you will learn to unite your little strength to Jesus and follow His instructions. Do not be like the world that even if they receive mercy today, they will be back to evil and then trouble the next day. People like that have the spirit of pigs. Bath them, they go back to the mud. Listen to Proverbs 4:6-7, "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding." All you have are the wrong things and people in your life. Give them all up. That is the cost you have to pay.

It Can Still Work For You Again

Life can still work for you because we have the testimony of men and women in different generations who were either in your same condition or even worse than you are but became victorious. They have a conviction that they can make it. Read their stories, study their process, be inspired by their courage and take a persistent, consistent, resilient steps towards God — the only source of life and hope for regaining strength and control. Then you will understand that whatever you have been through or may still be passing through, your desire and struggles to get out of the trouble of life will be complemented by God for you. If you can bring yourself to the assurance of what God can do, then I tell you that He will complete the good work you have started. “And so I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus.” ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬). It is God who started the stirring to return back to Him in you, it is God who must also complete it.

PRAYER FOR GRACE TO COMPLEMENT MY EFFORT
