🌘Dancing in the Dark
"I remember sitting in the studio alone; just looking at the space, imagining all that could have happened; all that it could have become.
I would spend days and hours just sitting in silence, while enjoying the magic of the space. I would see over and over in my head, scenes of people getting healed, families coming together, kindered spirits meeting for the first time.
I would see people walking into our space just for a pause; a chance to meet someone to share a conversation; a chance to be inspired through the environment we've created.
Having spent our entire savings to keep the dream alive; to pay off those that worked with us; to keep their families breathing eventhough we were behind in massive debts, we did everything we could to do right by others.
I remember asking CG for the final bit of cash that we had for our baby's milk to pay a bill, and though she needed to keep it for our child, she chose to trust in the Universe; knowing that as long as we still believed, God would make a way.
Because of our financial status, we were mocked by people we knew, gossiped about and looked down upon. We were disrepected by people who once looked up to us; all this because we didn't fit into their idea of 'Success'.
Sometimes 'Life' will come at you hard. It will move you, shape you, shift you in ways beyond imagination. It will use every inch of your experience as a tool to break you; so that it can remake you into the person you were always meant to be.
The question is, can you stay grounded in your essence despite all that you're going through?
Can you stay connected to your values, be steadfast in your beliefs and hold strong to your dreams?
Can you still TRUST, when everything around you is pointing the other way?
Because at the end of day,
When it's all been said and done;
The only thing that truly matters, is the person that you've become.
So WHO are you choosing to BE?"
