每一枚Medallion均取自**万历沉船（AD 1625）出水、已破损的青花瓷碗或瓷盘完整底部（圈足），由 Ben 精心切割、打磨，并保留其原有的历史痕迹与自然风貌。
虽然原来的瓷器已经残缺，但完整的圈足得以保存，让一件拥有四百年历史的文物，以另一种形式延续生命。
由于每一片瓷底都拥有不同的纹饰、釉色、烧制特征及岁月留下的痕迹，因此每一枚纪念章都是独一无二、无法复制的收藏品。

Wanli Shipwreck AD 1625 Blue-and-White Porcelain Medallions – !!!

Each medallion is handcrafted from the intact foot ring (base) of an original blue-and-white porcelain bowl or plate recovered from the Wanli Shipwreck (AD 1625). Although the original vessel was damaged, its complete base has been carefully preserved, cut, and polished by Ben, allowing a remarkable piece of history to live on in a new form.

No two medallions are alike. Every piece retains its own unique pattern, glaze, firing characteristics, and marks of time, making each medallion a truly one-of-a-kind collectible that can never be replicated.
Every medallion is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, verifying the origin and authenticity of the porcelain fragment and enhancing its collectible value.

Every piece is handmade, and all is one of a kind. That's why we prefer our visitors to experience each creation in person—to see the details up close and discover the story behind every piece.

In the space Rongen has curated over two decades, ceramic shards from the Wan Li shipwreck are arranged like relics. Some have been made into jewellery and others set onto small sculptural pieces. The rest remain untouched, displayed just as they were when they were lifted off the seabed.

Wanli Period, Ming Dynasty Kilns
This elegant blue-and-white Klapmuts bowl is decorated with vibrant cobalt blue underglaze painting. The centre features a bird among rocks and flowering plants, a classic motif of Kraak porcelain. The rim is decorated with an unusual continuous floral and rock pattern, rarely seen on Kraak ware.
Kraak porcelain was one of the most important Chinese export wares of the late Ming period, traded to Europe through the Maritime Silk Road and highly prized by collectors.

这件青花折沿碗采用鲜艳浓郁的钴蓝彩绘装饰。碗心绘有鸟栖山石、花卉盛开的吉祥图景，为典型克拉克瓷纹饰。口沿则采用较为少见的连续花卉与山石纹设计，别具特色。
克拉克瓷是晚明时期最重要的中国外销瓷之一，经由海上丝绸之路远销欧洲，深受当时贵族与收藏家的喜爱。
