Our Story

AVM Jewellery is a small family run business dedicated to creating exclusive luxury jewellery that you will treasure for years to come. Our jewellery is passionately hand-crafted from sterling silver, and we regularly combine silver with semi-precious stones and healing crystals. Conceived in 2009 AVM Jewellery (formerly Dragonlord Creations) grew from a desire for change! After 12 years of working as a Physiotherapist in a stifling government environment I was looking for freedom to express myself. I found this when in 2006 I decided to build my own chainmaillle armour and in so doing discovered the fascinating art of chainmaille jewellery. I was smitten! and a fantastic relationship between my creative side and metal was born. Thankfully I could call upon my years of experience in scale modelling and painting of small figurines to provide the dexterity needed for some of the more intricate work required. And chailmaille was just the beginning, I then started including crystals and wire wrapping, then sheet metals and continue to learn and experiment with different materials - life is fun! One flaw, which I am working on correcting, is that i am too much of a perfectionist! So good enough is good enough... or is it? I still believe that when an object of beauty is being created it should be lavished with love and attention, even if that means more time and a higher price. This makes for unique pieces that I am assured are appreciated by all of our clients. If you're not looking for quality then this isn't the place! COMMISSIONS: One of my favourite aspects of what I do is commissions. It's so thrilling to be able to pluck an idea from someone's brain and turn it into something tangible! The feeling of pride and accomplishment on watching the person's face light up when given their personal creation is addictive! So please do contact me if you'd like something made just for you or your loved ones or if you have a crystal or stone that you'd like to mount as a ring, brooch, pendant or bracelet (or earrings if you've got a matching pair). AT AVM Jewellery CREATIONS: We pride ourselves in the ethical and customer orientated service that we provide. Our main aims are to see you, our customer, happy with the service we provide and enjoying your purchase to the fullest! CUSTOM ORDERS: We can change anything you want; Not your size? We can alter it to fit you. Want a different clasp? Want a whole matching set? Want your own stone/crystal turned into a ring or pendant? Since all our jewellery is handmade, it's completely customizable! If you have a crystal or stone that you'd like to mount as a ring, brooch or pendant or bracelet (or earrings if you've got a matching pair) then contact us and we'll make it happen! INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We ship directly from Malta to the European Union, United States, Canada and Australia. All other countries please contact us directly for availability of service.
