Bayan Tree and Htoo developed a relationship early in 2020 for the wider Htoo hospitality group including up to 17 outlets.

Included in this portfolio The Htoo Htoo group has a resort developed on 115 Island for many years, most recently the site was tied up with Thai investors. The island was once regarded as the jewel of the archipelago, although it never really took off.
Today it seems like Htoo Htoo group is suffering due to the coup & Covid. But how viable were any of these resorts anyway, with negligible infrastructure, problems source any staff, little own quality/qualified and a lot of competition. There are to date over a dozen resorts insitu, only a couple are functioning the rest have struggled to establish themselves.
