We found the druid in a remote Swiss valley between Germany and Lichtenstein. The character immediately crystallizes a mystical universe. The music is a highlight, the philosophy of psychedelism a guiding thread.
Victor de Bros aka Fizzè absolutely plays by all the rules. Resolutely retrograde and fond of advanced sound engineering, the shaman builds his incantation. Just imagine him with a flute in his mouth, hands on his console, recording a guest he is hosting in the adjoining room. The scholar feeds on his encounters and exults in his snippets of the outside world. A vast world that he enlarges with his unfailing curiosity as the oriental wind stirs the feather in his hat.
Industrial DIY music, carnivalesque opera, melodies of zany instruments and songs of multiple roots overlap in a scathing hubbub forming the atmosphere of Fizzè. A Tönoga as he likes to call it: the ear that sees. Victor delivers here an hour of extravagant recital drawing from the confines of his burlesque oriental world. New productions, old works and fantasy jams intertwine. A manicheism of mixture or mixes coldness, lightness, roughness and poetry.
We open today this book which constitutes a part of Décalé’s next release. With joy, sweetness and pride. A huge thank you to Victor for all this work. More to share soon.
